So until recently, I have been in somewhat of a reading slump and have been binge watching tv shows on netflix. However a while ago I stumbled upon booktube again after not watching any bookish videos for a while. As a obsessive human that I am, I am now in need of getting all of the books. I’m getting there with my collection, it’s even in rainbow 🙂 Which I love, and is strangely satisfying haha. I will be posting another bookish post soon enough and I promise I will add a shelfie. There are just so many many more books for me to own and read. I cannot wait to buy more books and build my bookshelves, to make it more colourful and to be able to have my favourite and most anticipated reads at my disposal!

I have heard so much about The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare over the years, and I have recently just watched the first season of the tv series on Netflix, and loved it so much that I decided to buy the black and white spine boxset. Which by the way I am in love with and can’t wait to get it in the mail with including the Shadowhunter’s Codex! 🙂
I did buy TMI series individually because I few of them were on sale, so I won’t have them in their little box but that’s okay. Well sort of. It does bug me a little but I try to save money where I can so yeah.
I can’t explain why I love this world, but ever since I started watching the tv series I knew I had to read the books. Usually it’s the other way around, you read the books and then you watch the movie or whatever. But I’m beyond excited to see this world for myself, in my own mind.
I’m sure once I get these in the mail I will be posting a bookstagram about it! So keep an eye out on my instagram page.
So it’s not a lie that probably everybody goes on their favourite websites, and adds things to their cart with no intention of buying them or possibly buying them in the future.
I am one of these people, I occasionally buy too many things and spend too much money when I shouldn’t, but you only live once you know? Haha, however I have decided instead of buying books whenever. I am going to build up a small amount in my cart on the bookdepository website and every month or two months I will buy a few.
As a girl ( guys probably do this as well with things ) but I feel like I need everything that everyone else has ( when it comes to books ) all the hype and photographs of all the pretty books. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way, I’m not mad about it. At all haha , I want all the pretty books. But I do think that I need to go on a mini book buying ban/only buy books when I know I can spend the money.
